Felt cosmically compelled to write an email tonight. No clue why, just did. There's not a lot new in my atmosphere, it's a lot of work-related stuff I'm not allowed to talk about. That said, there's a lot I'll be allowed to talk about soon. Can't wait to share all of those things with you.

In terms of what's actually new with me...

I've been off on many adventures by plane lately. The flights never stop, and they won't until mid-July it appears (at least for a short time). Flights have gotten expensive, and I'm grateful work gets us a discount on them. I feel horrible for those who don't get discounted rates though, because holy cow.

Per usual, I'm testing the new Apple releases (macOS 27 Golden Gate, iOS 27, iPadOS 27, watchOS 27, and tvOS 27 specifically). You can see some of my initial thoughts above. I think the new black outline around the glass they added needs to be toned down, but otherwise, I'm rocking the "More Clear" setting on the slider (all the way to the left!) I want my Liquid Glass the way it was in an early iOS 26 beta, and that's exactly what that setting gives you! But to each their own, of course.

Other than that, like I mentioned, I'm about to go off on a multi-day trip to another state in a different time zone. Then I fly home, am home for precisely a week and a half, and then Nick and I leave to head to my parents' for a bit. It's going to be a lovely time, but there's a lot that has to happen between now and then!

So, wish us luck with all the anxiety and stress of making sure both trips go off without a hitch, but more specifically the one we're taking together. So far, it has been perfect! (It's just the flights to our destination we need to worry about!)
